A True Hero

Melissa Taylor is quite a woman, quite a real survivor.  She was selected as our honorary survivor from the 2011 Pink Half Marathon, and received a coveted Blendtec Total Wildside Blender! Melissa is such an amazing and inspiring woman!  We love her and hope you get to know and love her through her story.

I used to run only when I had to.  As a dancer, I hated running.  Running was boring and HARD!  6 years ago you would never see me running unless someone was chasing me.  I couldn't understand how people could LOVE the sport and how it was possible to feel better mentally and physically after a run.  I never understood until I was diagnosed with breast cancer.
